Your journey will take you through a large dark room covered in ash and debris. What has happened? Where do you begin?
Each poem features characters on the margins of the disaster. You will be led to meet them without having their physical or psychological portrait. You will be able to recreate a space and a character out of your own imagination thanks to your interpretation of the sound envelope that recomposes the places where the characters evolve.
Based on the poetic suite Ciel à outrances by Madeleine Monette published by Éditions de Ixagone.

For over thirty years, Stan Douglas’ work has explored the image: its processes of fabrication, its aesthetic languages and its power dynamics. Through photographic and videographic installations, film, television, theater, mobile applications and numerous other digital technologies, he offers reconstructions of decisive moments in cultural, social and political history to illustrate multiple and divergent narratives in minute detail.
The PHI Foundation will present the Canadian premiere of Douglas’ latest photographic series, Penn Station’s Half Century (2021), as well as his Disco Angola series (2012), which has never before been exhibited in Quebec.
Public: Young adults
