This course offers an exploration of various approaches to musical performance in immersive contexts.
Through a hands-on approach, participants will explore different creation methods for multichannel setups, understand the existing tools and formats, and apply these concepts by creating or adapting an immersive sound piece.
Course Objectives and Content :
– Identify and understand various methods of creation, spatialization, and multichannel sound distribution.
– Prepare a model work session for a dome and speaker installation.
– Master real-time sound spatialization control in a distribution space.
– Learn how to perform multichannel audio exports.
– Present a spatialized sound piece, either live or pre-recorded, in the dome at the end of the course.
